Troops Statistics

A correct mix or a single type of troop can be the key to a good attacking wave. Each troop type has their own strengths and weaknesses and is suited to different situations. Sending the wrong type or amount of each troop can mean your wave goes splat against the enemy and the whole attack becomes a disaster.

Armed Peasants

Good for springing killing pits and boiling pots

Can be used against very small wolf lairs at the start of the game

Cheap to make

Can take a while to knock down walls and dig up moats

Pikemen

High defence

Extremely difficult to kill in large numbers

Relatively good defence when fully researched

Great for knocking down walls and digging up moats

Die very quickly if not fully researched

Archers

Lethal against ground units when in large numbers

Relatively cheap to make

Die very quickly when wolves and ground troops get close

Can take a while to knock down walls and dig up moats

Catapults

Only troop that can knock down enemy towers

Great for destroying castles

Costly to make

Die every quickly if any troop gets near them

Captains

High attack

High defence

Can use tactics

Costly to make

Die very quick under heavy archer fire
