Supply depots increase the speed of attacks you send from the parish capital. It is good practice to place at least a few in the parish capital early on. This means you can attack castles and wolf lairs from the parish capital quickly, and gain honour for all the villages in the parish. These structures cannot be upgraded and should not be demolished or you will lose the speed bonus they give.
